A little round-up of the week…it flew by but fun to recap.
Packed in a work trip, started decking the halls, and am counting down to some much-anticipated time off with family soon!
1. Visited my amazing sister & brother-in-law to celebrate her birthday 🎉
2. Decorated (okay, mostly ate) sugar cookies at a fun holiday work event.
3. Had an incredible dinner at Daniels Broiler @danielsbroiler in Bellevue—the peppermint ice cream was so good it might have stolen the show!
4. Went on a boxwood wreath hunt…spoiler alert: 2024 is not the year for boxwood in the PNW. RIP my vision.
5. My super-talented friend @melissanelsondesign came to the rescue to help deck the halls. 🙏 Thank you M!!
6. Secretly wishing I could trade places with Mia, who was living her best life working at the Whistler Film Festival this week.

Truth be told, I love New Year’s Eve—it’s the perfect mix of reflection, celebration, and an excuse to eat snacks past midnight 😂

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! 🍂 Ours was a little different this year, but still full of gratitude.
The kids were together in Vancouver, BC (Dylan couldn’t pass up the chance to visit his big sis in college).
With just the two of us at home, we skipped the big traditional meal and opted for turkey tacos instead 😂
Quick, easy, and no mountains of dishes—definitely a win in my book!
I also got to spend time catching up with my talented friend and blog contributor, @juliechase, which was such a highlight.
And the best part? I received the sweetest news on Thanksgiving: the dog we fostered, Chastidy was officially adopted by Kim and Roman, the amazing fosters who took her after us. They shared, “She has found a permanent place in our hearts and home.” 🐾💛 I cried happy tears when she shared the news.
Grateful for good food, great friends, and happy endings 🙏
