Feel-Good Instagram Accounts to Brighten Your Feed (and Your Mood)

Feeling overwhelmed by the news or just need a better scroll? This post rounds up some of my favorite Instagram accounts for positivity, comic relief, and style inspiration. From uplifting quotes to clean comedy and feel-good design, these accounts are the digital pick-me-up you didn’t know you needed.

I wasn’t an early adopter of Instagram, but I’ve grown to appreciate a good scroll—especially when it delivers a mix of positivity, life tips, pet videos, and a healthy dose of comic relief. With everything going on in the world right now, it can feel a little heavier than usual. And sometimes, a small dose of lighthearted or uplifting content is exactly what we need to reset. As of April 2025, Instagram has over 2 billion monthly active users. But unless the algorithm is working in your favor, you could easily miss out on some feel-good gems. So, in the spirit of old-school iTunes playlist sharing, I’m rounding up a few of my favorite IG accounts that never fail to lift my mood or spark a little inspiration.

Comic Relief:

Just4Jokes (@just_4jokes) This account serves up a nonstop stream of memes, viral clips, and hilariously relatable moments. Follow for your daily dose of laughter, because adulting is hard and memes help!

Nate Bargatze (@natebargatze) is your go-to for laugh-out-loud stand-up that’s clean enough to share with your co-workers. His feed features clips from the road, behind-the-scenes bits, and dad-level jokes that actually land. If dry humor and Southern charm are your thing, this is the account to follow.

Posititivity:

Power of Positivity (@powerofpositivity) offers daily inspiration through uplifting quotes, thoughtful reminders, and messages that encourage self-love and resilience. It’s a calming corner of the internet for anyone seeking a little light, hope, or motivation in their day—perfect for quiet scrolls and mindful moments.

That Good News Girl (@thatgoodnewsgirl) is your daily dose of optimism and cute pet stories. Jenn shares uplifting stories and heartwarming moments that highlight the kindness and resilience of people everywhere. Her content serves as a gentle reminder that good news is all around us, waiting to be celebrated.

Mindset & Professional Inspo:

Sara Blakely (@sarablakely)  As the founder of Spanx and a mother of four, she offers a behind-the-scenes look at her journey, from business ventures to family life. Her posts often highlight her commitment to empowering women, celebrating creativity, and embracing authenticity. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or seeking daily inspiration, Sara’s feed provides a heartfelt and genuine perspective on balancing success with personal growth. I follow her husband @jesseitzler who also shares fun stories of his entrepreneur journey and hacks for getting the most out of life.

Mel Robbins (@melrobbins) I’m sure everyone knows Mel already! She brings a good mix of motivation, straight talk, science-backed tools, and just the right amount of tough love. Her feed is packed with practical tips on confidence, mindset, and taking action—plus the occasional behind-the-scenes peek into her life. If you’re ready to get unstuck, this is a great place to start.

Elaine Welteroth (@elainewelteroth) is a vibrant blend of inspiration and authenticity. After watching her insightful MasterClass, I was drawn to her Instagram, where she shares empowering messages, glimpses into her multifaceted career, and moments from her personal life. Her feed is a testament to embracing one’s identity and pursuing purpose with passion. Whether she’s highlighting her work with @birthFUND, reflecting on her journey as a bestselling author, or simply sharing everyday joys, Elaine’s content resonates with those seeking motivation and genuine connection.

Hack Your HR (@hackyourhr), curated by Amy, a Chief Human Resources Officer at a global company, offers practical career advice tailored for professionals navigating the corporate world. From organizing your inbox to mastering job interviews, Amy shares actionable tips to help you advance in your career. Her content also touches on workplace relationships and personal development, making it a valuable resource for anyone looking to grow professionally.

Style & Interior Design:

Est Ovest Style (@estoveststyle) is a Portland-based styling company that offers a curated blend of fashion inspiration and professional styling services. Co-founded by the talented Paula Brady O’Neil and Tracy Gaillard Pendergast, the account showcases their expertise in creating personalized looks that empower individuals to express their unique style. Their content ranges from behind-the-scenes glimpses of styling sessions to tips on wardrobe essentials, all aimed at helping followers elevate their fashion game. I’m truly grateful to know Tracy and Paula; their passion for style and genuine approach make Est Ovest Style a standout in the fashion community.

Susie Wright (@susie.wright) is redefining fashion over 50 with her effortlessly chic and approachable style. A former Nordstrom buyer and personal stylist, she launched her blog, So Susie, at age 52 to share outfit ideas, beauty favorites, and lifestyle tips. Her Instagram and blog are a curated mix of polished looks, practical advice, and joyful reminders that great style is ageless. Whether you’re seeking seasonal wardrobe essentials or a fresh take on everyday fashion, Susie’s feed offers inspiration and confidence for women embracing their style journey at any age.

Clouz Houz (@clouz_houz) is a Bend, Oregon–based interior design studio founded by my lifelong friend Allison Clouser. With a passion for transforming spaces, Allison and her husband Derrick specialize in home remodels, new construction, and furnishings, bringing natural materials and vintage elements into every project. Their Instagram feed showcases beautifully curated interiors, design tips, and glimpses into their creative process, offering inspiration for anyone looking to make their house feel like a home. They offers virtual consults too!

Cheering for Dylan was the best way to start the day — even if it started waaaay too early. 😅 So proud of him for taking on the half marathon at Track Town USA with 15,000 runners today! 🏃‍♂️💚
