That’s a wrap for 2024! In this final post of the year, check out the most popular posts and download a free “Year in Review” worksheet. Take a moment to appreciate your own insights and accomplishments, and discover more of what truly lights you up.

Reflecting on my first year working on the Career Insight Studio Blog, I’m truly thankful for this little corner of the internet where I can create and share insights. In a world of non-stop notifications and endless scrolls, I’m genuinely touched each time someone reads and shares a post.

The blog’s mission has always been to offer insights and support to working women balancing demanding careers with family life. This year, we’ve explored everything from mastering the art of delegation to navigating career conversations, and I couldn’t have done it without a little help from some fantastic guest contributors. They’ve shared insights from parenting tips to book recommendations and even a dash of style advice.

Looking ahead, my aim is to keep delivering content that not only alleviates stress and boosts job satisfaction but also enriches our lives. We all have this one precious life to enjoy, and I hope to make it a little easier and more fulfilling for us all.

I’m sure we have all been in those awkward situations where workplace tension feels like an invisible wall no one wants to address. It can add a lot of unwanted stress when there’s ongoing conflict.

Thanks to my daughter for sharing the handy method from her conflict management course called the DEAR method Describe, Express, Assert, and Reinforce. Funny enough, she’s even used it with me! By calmly describing the issue and sharing how it impacted you, it opens up a dialogue that can lead to mutual understanding and a clear path forward for effective communication at work and at home 😉
