Not sure anyone loves delivering tough feedback but dodging hard conversations doesn’t help your team grow—or build trust.
In this recent post, I share four practical steps that have helped me deliver honest feedback with empathy (leveraging tips from Kim Scott’s book Radical Candor — required reading for anyone who’s ever managed humans 😉)
And yes, there’s also a story of what not to do—straight from my own experience.

Two kids. Two graduations. One very full camera roll and some happy tears.
Dylan graduated from Jesuit High School and will head to the University of Oregon this fall. Mia finished her Motion Picture Arts degree at Capilano University in Vancouver, BC.
We are so proud of how much they have grown and all the work it took to reach this point.
June, you’ve been a whirlwind—in the very best way!
Cheers to all the graduates!🎓💚
The sun showed up today…just like it did the day Mia was born ☀️ Happy Birthday @mia.n.c ! We love you 🥰

In this week’s blog post, I’m sharing the hits, the misses, the shortcuts, and the helping hands that made it all possible—so I could spend less time stressing over streamers and more time soaking up the fun!

Cheering for Dylan was the best way to start the day — even if it started waaaay too early. 😅 So proud of him for taking on the half marathon at Track Town USA with 15,000 runners today! 🏃♂️💚
