Hosting a prom after-party for our high school senior—while juggling a packed schedule—required some careful planning, checklists and a nap!
In this week’s blog post, I’m sharing the hits, the misses, the shortcuts, and the helping hands that made it all possible—so I could spend less time stressing over streamers and more time soaking up the fun!
Swipe for the decor lineup:
1. Light up PROM letters – inexpensive and perfect for photo ops
2. DIY balloon arch (assembled with extra help from Joni @Jugglesource – big thank you!)
3. Electric Balloon pump
4. Kate Spade x @target decorations in the school colors
5. Outdoor lights for after-dark sparkle
6. Chocolate Fountain with yummy treats to dip from @themeltingpotrestaurants

Cheering for Dylan was the best way to start the day — even if it started waaaay too early. 😅 So proud of him for taking on the half marathon at Track Town USA with 15,000 runners today! 🏃♂️💚
Still beaming with pride! 🎉 Congratulations to Mia for having her short film Kindred Spirits selected for the Panorama Film Festival. Seeing it light up the big screen was a moment to remember! 🥰🎬
Ready for real growth at work? When done right, mentorship isn’t just another meeting on your calendar — it’s where real growth, lightbulb moments, and career magic happen.
But without a little prep? It can easily turn into a “so...what should we talk about?” situation.
The fix is simple: a bit of structure and intention.
In this third and final post in our mentorship series, learn how both mentors and mentees can show up with purpose, spark more meaningful conversations, and get more out of the process.
